October & December Training: Stickwork & Shooting

Training focus: Building confidence on the field is a LOT about how you feel about your stick skills. Drills will focus on stickwork, shooting, dodging, & small-sided games. Register for one program…or both!
Age: 8th-12th grade
Skill Level: Intermediate & up ONLY / If you’re unsure if your athlete should join this group or our Beginner groups, please email Elise@SDGirlsLax.com prior to registering
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Dates: Option 1—October 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 (6 days) / Option 2—December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17 (6 days)
Time: 4:30pm-6:00pm (October) / 4:00pm-5:30pm (December)

January Training: Cuts & Small-Sided Games

Training focus: Understanding how to make the most effective cuts and how to defend them. This means lots of shots, dodges, & defensive practice! We’ll also play lots of small-sided games to practice under pressure.
Age: 9th-12th grade / DEDICATED 8th graders are welcome, but please first email Elise@SDGirlsLax.com to ensure this is a good fit

3rd Annual FREE February Preseason Funday

Training focus: This 2-hour funday is open to all levels, and you don’t need to be part of San Diego Girls Lacrosse to join! Get the tryout nerves out with some last minute stickwork & shooting with other athletes from schools all over San Diego. Bring your beginner friends, & if you have an extra stick, please bring that, too!
Age: 9th-12th grade ONLY
Skill Level: All Levels welcome!
Date: Sunday, February 8th, 2026
Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm
