General Info

  • Lacrosse is a spring sport!

  • For the first time in this program’s 5 year history, we’ll have one team in every age group: K-2nd grade / 3rd & 4th grade / 5th & 6th grade / 7th & 8th grade. Let’s make this the BEST season yet.

Game Schedule & Locations

  • Game Schedule: Each team will play 2 back-to-back games on Saturdays for 10 games total. This means that we'‘ll have games on only 5 Saturdays instead of 10! The final schedule is released in early March.

  • Game Locations: Games will be at various locations in San Diego as far as Carlsbad.

Equipment

  • Each athlete will need: stick, goggles, mouthguard, & cleats or athletic shoes. Cleats are recommended, but not required. We’ll play on mostly grass fields.

  • FREE loaner sticks & goggles are available for all athletes.

  • Go HERE for all equipment questions & recommendations.

  • Jewelry & Pierced Ears: If your child is thinking of piercing her ears, don’t do it right before or during the spring season! Athletes are not allowed to have any jewelry on during our spring season games. Taped ears are not accepted by the refs. Earrings typically must remain in for 6-8 weeks after piercing. Summer is always the best time to do this if you have a child in sports. Our first spring rec games start late February. Please plan accordingly.

USA Lacrosse Membership Required (separate fee)

  • Every athlete is REQUIRED by the league to have a current USA Lacrosse Membership (insurance) through the end of the season (Mid-May). Memberships are $30 and are valid for one year.

  • Register or look up your membership HERE. Click “Join Now” or “Look Up Membership” on the right hand side of the page.

Our Commitment to Your Child

Our coaching staff is deeply committed to providing a comfortable learning environment for your athlete. Burnout, loss of self-confidence, and overall unhappiness with sports is very prevalent in the youth & high school sports world when athletes are pressured into performance, especially at a young age. Your child’s mental & emotional health is our top priority. We also take great pride in ensuring correct fundamentals, team skills, & good sportsmanship are at the forefront of our coaching, will set your child up for success at any level!
