Fundamentals for Beginners Clinic

It’s all about those fundamentals!! In this 2-hour, small financial investment crash course, we’ll cover the basics so you can practice on your own and feel more comfortable joining a program or team. If you’re interested in an extended beginner program, check out the Beginner Programs below. There’s a weekend & weekday option!

Age: 9th-12th grade
Skill Level: Brand new lacrosse athlete
Date: Sunday, August 24th
Time: 10am-12pm

Equipment: Stick & goggles. FREE loaner sticks & goggles available. No mouthguard required.

Beginner Training Programs

You’ll learn everything to you need to know to feel a whole lot more confident at tryouts. Each Option will focus on the same skills, so registering for more than one isn’t necessary.

Age: 9th-12th grade
Skill Level: Brand new lacrosse athlete
Dates:

Option 1—August 24 & September 7, 14 (3 Sundays) @ 10am-12pm / Cost: $108
Option 2—December 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17 (6 Mondays & Wednesdays) @4:30-6:00pm / Cost: $162
Option 3—there will likely be a January option with registration opening in November

3rd Annual FREE February Preseason Funday

Training focus: This 2-hour training is open to all levels, and you don’t need to be part of San Diego Girls Lacrosse to join! Get the tryout nerves out with some last minute stickwork & shooting with other athletes from schools all over San Diego. Bring your beginner friends, & if you have an extra stick, please bring that, too!
Age: 9th-12th grade
Skill Level: All Levels welcome!
Date: Saturday, February 7th
Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm
